There are oil free concealers especially designed to cover up blemishes and spots available so it would be probably best to invest in one if you think you might need it on a regular basis. They usually also contain drying properties that reduce both inflammation and oiliness.
First, you must select a color suited to your skin. Remember, anything too dark or too light will only highlight what you are tying to cover up.
If the spot is a little inflamed and red you will also need to purchase a green tinted concealer to apply before the blemish cover.
When covering the spot with concealer, it is better to use a brush than your fingers because first of all they are too large for delicate application and secondly could transfer more bacteria onto the spot. When you have covered the spot, carry on with your foundation and regular make-up.
Oil free concealers should not be used under or around the eyes as these products have a drying effect.
Jojoba plant was discovered in a desert near Baja California by a botanist, H. F. Link in ear 1882. The scientific name of Jojoba plant is Simmondsia chinesis. Before the discovery and research, fishermen kill whales to extract its oil to be used for facial products. It was not until US banned killing whale, jojoba plant started to gain popularity for whale oil substitution. Therefore, there is much research being done to find out the essence of jojoba oil for facial products.
How does jojoba plant have oil extracts? Jojoba plant produces a bean pod where it will be heated and causes oil to be secreted. The desert people of Southern California and Mexico have been using this oil to treat their skin conditions and cuts. Japanese researcher done some research about jojoba oil and found it to be non-toxic for human to use and soon discover more of its properties that benefits us in many ways.
Scalp pimples or acne are generally different to normal facial or other bodily acne. This is because it is the hair follicle that becomes inflamed. There are a few types of scalp pimples, which have varying degrees of intensity, but generally they all have the same pustule type spot which is commonly found when brushing or running your fingers through your hair.
Like other types of acne, scalp pimples can have different causes. Some cases of yeast organisms, mites and staph bacterium often find the scalp an ideal breeding ground, although regular washing with a hypoallergenic shampoo will reduce the risk of infection.
Over the counter medications for acne can be used but may have some adverse effects like discolorization of the hair or even hair loss. If you encounter scalp acne I would recommend seeing a doctor or dermatologist.
