Prevention Of Pimples

Acne can be caused by any number of factors like poor diet, stress and having oily skin but there a number of tips that can help in the prevention of pimples.

Have a healthy balanced diet by making sure you have the correct number of vitamins and nutrients daily and sticking to it. Drinking carbonated beverages should be avoided but it is important to stay hydrated, so drink plenty of water and natural fruit juices.

Keep your face clean by washing it several times a day with soap and water as this will prevent any clogging that might cause spots. Also use a cleaning solution that removes excess oil regularly like one that contains salicyclic acid or sulfur.

If you have long hair, try not to let it touch your face as hair also secretes oils which when transferred to the face can cause acne. Likewise, if you get your hands dirty don’t touch you face until you have washed them as this transference is also a common cause of acne.
